
Tonight we ate
Roast Fillet of Beef with Chipotle Red Pepper Sauce and Mustard Chive Sauce,
Carrot Radish Salad, both from
Epicurious.com, and a lettuce and red pepper salad. The sauces were a great contrast to each other, and both worked great with the meat.
Wine: Jean Michel Maurice Domaine du Prieure Bourgogne 2006. Amazing that this worked with both meat sauces, and still worked with the carrot radish salad, which also had lime juice in it. Wonderful with the meal!
