New recipes, May 24, 2020
Spicy Cumin Braised Pork from the May 2020 Food and Wine. This has two other new recipes in it, both from the same issue—Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce, and Trinidadian Green Seasoning. Between them they use almost a cup (!!) of habanero peppers! Of course, there is more of both to be added to other foods—yum! The flavors of the pork are wonderful, and the amount of peppery sauces is such that it is spicy but not overly hot, and it brings out the fruity character of the habaneros. We give this a 5.
