New recipes, May 24, 2011

Tonight Carl prepared two new recipes from Epicurious.com: Chicken and Dumplings, and Grapefruit and Avocado Salad with Ginger Cassis Dressing. Southern boy though he is, Carl hadn't made Chicken and Dumplings before, but they were delicious, for dinner as well as for lunch the next day! The salad didn't make it to the next day--it is one of the best salads we have had, and I definitely recommend it!

Wine: Oak Grove Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Reserve--nice match!
