We made 2 new things tonight. The Spicy Bell Pepper Salad from Epicurious.com is not hot, but is very flavorful. We also had a grilled flank steak quick marinated in Worcestershire sauce with some garlic, serrano pepper and lime zest, served with Rick Bayless' Essential Chopped Tomato-Serrano Salsa, from his Mexican Kitchen. The salsa was great with the steak (a suggestion in the book after the salsa recipe). I am embarrassed to say we had not made this salsa before, but we certainly will again!Once again no wine, as we had another play to attend--the closing night of Superior Donuts, at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. This is one of the best plays we have seen there in years.
