The Sicilian Cooler from tipsydiaries.com. The Solerno is sweet but it is nicely balanced by the Campari and lime juice. We give it a 4.

Corsican Bean Soup with Greens and Pork from the October 2019 Food and Wine. Delicious flavors. We would cook the beans longer to make them soft and creamy before putting them into the soup. Our experience is that beans don't cook well with salt, and they were tough in this soup. Overall we give it a 4, would be a 5 with tender beans.

Pork Loin Braised with Mushrooms and Wine from the October 2019 Food and Wine. The mushrooms are wonderful, but the meat was a bit dry. We give this a 4 overall.

The new recipe is for Zhug, which is that green paste on the eggs. The recipe is from New York Times Cooking. The flavors(Chile, parsley, cilantro, many spices) are really good, but it is quite salty so needs to be used sparingly. We would reduce the salt by about 2/3. We give it a 3 as made, would be at least a 4 if it is less salty
