I messed up the photo of the Pork Noodle Soup with Ginger and Toasted Garlic from the March 18, 2020 Denver Post, but it is delicious and gets a 5. And we celebrated Carl's birthday with the Rosemary Olive Oil and Orange Cake from NYT Cooking. This is great, and gets a 5!

Black Apple Old Fashioned from Epicurious. We liked this, better by reversing the proportions of apple brandy (increase to 1 1/2 oz), and Jagermeister (reduce time 1 oz). We give it a 3, up to a 4 with the changes above.

Duck Carnitas Tacos with Radish Escabeche. OMG! This is an involved recipe, including confit of the Duck, but it is fabulous! Be careful with the salt—it came out a bit salty for us. This would get a 5 if we used a bit less salt, it gets a 4 as made. But we will make it again!!
