Mayo Marinated Chicken with Chimichurri Sauce from NYT Cooking. The idea of marinating the chicken in mayonnaise is a new one for us, but it does keep the chicken moist. The chimichurri was very oregano forward, maybe a bit too much. We give this a 3.

Ferran Adria's Potato Chip Omelet from NYT Cooking, and Chris William's Watermelon Salad, from NPR's Code Switch. Both are wonderful, and get 5's. The potato chip omelet may sound odd, but the potato chips soften up with cooking, so this is an interesting way to prepare a quick omelet that is reminiscent of a traditional Spanish tortilla.

This was our contribution to a Father's Day family get together—a Lemon Chiffon Cake with Blueberry Coriander Buttercream. As you might guess, this had a bunch of steps, but it was absolutely wonderful! We give this a 5!
