The W&P Mint Julep from Shake by Eric Prum and Josh Williams. While a "handful" of mint leaves is a bit of a variable quantity, it gives a much more pronounced mint flavor than a traditional Julep, and it's good! 5.

The Dirty Española from Shake by Eric Prum and Josh Williams. Let me start by saying I have never had a dirty martini, so we may have been a bit naive about what to expect. That said, this is overpoweringly salty, and undrinkable. We give this a 1.

That said, we rather like the flavor of fino sherry in place of vermouth, and the caperberries are a nice alternative to olives. We just think the caper juice was utterly out of balance. I googled dirty martini recipes afterward, and at least some have similar proportions of olive juice—makes me pretty certain I will never order a dirty martini!
