April 2, 2011 new recipes

This evening we worked together to get dinner together. The main dish was both simple and fabulous: Gwynneth Paltrow's Fried Zucchini Spaghetti, from Food and Wine. This is not a complex recipe, but the flavors are fabulous! We had it with Brussels Sprouts with Shallots and Wild Mushrooms from Epicurious.com. They worked together quite well!

The wine was Yealands New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, 2008. It was a perfect match to both. A lovely evening!
