After last night's extravagant dinner, we went for something a little simpler, the Butter Lettuce Chicken Cherry Salad from Epicurious.com. But don't let simpler fool you--this is an excellent, delicious summer salad, and it showed off the wonderful cherries that are starting to show up in the market. We loved it!Wine: Leitz Out Rheingau Riesling 2009--the off dry character of the wine and its fruitiness made a nice match with the salad!
