With a pause to remember those we lost and those who served 16 years ago.

The new recipe is Lamb in a Greek Way from The New Basics Cookbook by Julee Rosso and Sheila Lukins. This is really good, we give it a 5 (we used goat in place of lamb).

End of Summer Tomato Salsa from the September 2017 Cooking Light. This is delicious! We give it a 5. Served with pan seared lamb and yellow squash from the garden.

Since we had ground goat, we used that instead of lamb.

We repeated the Dukkah Crusted Lamb Chops with Pomegranate Molasses from the December 2007 Bon Appetít

The new recipe is Tomato Salad with Feta and Pistachios from the August 2017 Bon Appetít. 

Dessert is Cherry Compote with Honey Yogurt also from the August 2017 Bon Appetít.

All three get 5s!
