January 28, 2011 new recipe
Dinner on 1/28/2011. Carl made Chicken with Achiote--the sauce was left behind from an earlier Rick Bayless shrimp dish, and he applied it beautifully to chicken. He served it with a totally new recipe for us, Roasted Acorn Squash with Chile Vinaigrette, from Epicurious.com. The name of the dish does not do justice to the way the lime juice jazzes up the chile and the squash!
