You might wonder why the sudden interest in kumquats! Well, our tree had ripe kumquats and we needed to do something with them, so Carl found options! Tonight's dinner was a Cucumber Raita, and grilled pork chops with Curried Kumquat Chutney and Caramelized Cumin Roasted Carrots from Epicurious.com, both of which were new, and both of which were delicious.

The wine was the 2009 Villa Wolf Gewürztraminer, a nice match with such spicey food!
