Strawberry Ricotta Waffle Sandwich from the May/June 2017 Eating Well. We used mixed berries. Good flavors, the frozen waffles are dry. We give this a 3.

Sous Vide Tuna with Zucchini and Carrot Salad from AnovaCulinary.com. Carl got a Sous Vide machine for his birthday, and we have been experimenting with it. The tuna is very good and the salad is wonderful! We give it a 5.

After seeing Lucia di Lammermoor, we made dinner for Mark's parents: Pasta with Ramp Pesto from zither April 2017 Bon Appetít (5!!), Sous vide Leg of Lamb with Rosemary and Garlic from AnovaCulinary.com (another 5!). Served with a reprise of the Radish and Parmesan Salad from the April 2017 Cooking Light, and the Top Secret Chocolate Mousse (not pictured) from the NPR site.

Southern Tomato Salad from the June 2017 Cooking Light. It is very good, we give it a 4. I think a Colorado peach in August will make this a 5!

We also had a Maker's Mark Watermelon Basil Julep. This is also good, and gets a 4. Same observation--in high watermelon season this may be better!

Two great dishes from the June 2017 Cooking Light. Grilled Chile-Lime Flank Steak. This is excellent, gets s 4. Served with a Grilled Corn and Bell Pepper Salad, which is amazing--a total 5! We've made corn-pepper salads before. Grilling the vegetables takes this to a new height! Wonderful!

Sous vide carrots with butter and basil from the Anova website. The carrots are delicious and a prefect texture. Would be nice to have s bit more basil flavor--this gets a 4.
Served with a reprise of the Chicken with Charred Rosemary Vinaigrette from the May 2017 Food and Wine. Still a 5!
