Drunken Chicken Soup from the April 2018 Food and Wine. This is a wonderful sophisticated soup! We give it a 5.
If you are in Denver, H-Mart has shaoshing wine without salt—it is great in this soup! The final instruction to add 2 Tbsp of salt seemed excessive to us. 1 tbsp seems about right.

Irish Pork Roast with Carrots and Parsnips from the April 2019 Eating Well. The flavors were really nice, but the pork came out a bit dry, even cooked as instructed. We give it a 3, mostly because of the dryness.

Broccoli Salad with Sherry Vinaigrette from the March 2019 Eating Well. The dressing has nice flavors, but the red onion we had was over the top hot, which threw it off. We give it a 3.
