Blue Corn Waffles Rancheros from the June 2021 Eating Well. We couldn't find blue corn meal, so we used regular. We like the flavors but the waffle batter was too stiff and they came out a bit heavy and chewy. We would use more milk to get a looser batter. We give this a 4.

We did a reprise of the Shrimp Burgers from NYT Cooking—still a 5! Accompanied by the new item, Oven Fried Patatas Bravas (Crispy Potatoes with Two Sauces). We give this a 5 overall. One sauce is Salsa Brava which is spectacular. The other is Allioli (not aioli), which never thickened for us, though it tasted good.
