Spicy Cumin Braised Pork from the May 2020 Food and Wine. This has two other new recipes in it, both from the same issue—Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce, and Trinidadian Green Seasoning. Between them they use almost a cup (!!) of habanero peppers! Of course, there is more of both to be added to other foods—yum! The flavors of the pork are wonderful, and the amount of peppery sauces is such that it is spicy but not overly hot, and it brings out the fruity character of the habaneros. We give this a 5.

Dinner is Sweet and Peppery Flank Steak with Shishitos from the May 2020 Eating Well, and Potluck Chopped Salad from the May 2020 Bon Appetit. Both of these also get a 4. The shishitos got way more blackened than we intended!

For dinner, Sweet and Peppery Flank Steak with Shishitos from the May 2020 Eating Well, and Potluck Chopped Salad from the May 2020 Bon Appetít. The shishitos were over blistered, so the steak gets a 4. The salad gets a 5.
