We have a few (buckets) of green tomatoes as well as ripening tomatoes, so this is perfect. We had no egg, so the green tomatoes did not have the cornmeal crust, and I used chipotle paste in place of the jalapeño slices. So more of a riff, but still delicious! Grilled cheese on steroids! It gets a 5.
