I am on the mend, but still decided to go for a fairly simple meal. So I made Indonesian Chicken, originally from the Cooking Light Magazine, with buttered stillette pasta. The chicken has a very nice flavor.
The wine was Le Vigne di San Pietro Corderosa Rose 2006. It has a little sweetness that held up pretty well against the sweetness in the chicken marinade. The mild tannins did fight the spice a little, so not the best match overall.
