The new recipe today was a Watermelon Salad with Serrano Vinaigrette from Epicurious.com. We served it with a simple grilled, peppered ribeye steak and a baguette. The salad was a great combination of sweetness, herbs, spiciness, and saltiness--really tasty, and it went nicely with the steak.The wine was the 2009 Oak Grove Petite Syrah. Nice and fruity, went well with both dishes.
