4 more days til Carl gets home!As you might surmise from the photo, today's new recipe was Dried-Cherry Scones, from Epicurious.com. I did make an ill considered change to the recipe-not having cake flour, I used whole wheat flour. They came out quite heavy and rather dry, not the moist scones the recipe described. So I wouldn't make them again the way that I did, but I would consider trying them again when I have some cake flour at home.
